New Grayslake Daycare To Host Grand Opening

GRAYSLAKE, IL — A new daycare has opened in town and will be celebrating with a visit from Corduroy Bear this weekend.

Kiddie Academy of Grayslake will host a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 24 at its newest location at 807 Barron Boulevard, Grayslake, according to a news release. The grand opening event will include a story reading and classroom visit with Corduroy Bear.

Kiddie Academy opened in April. The 9,490-square-foot daycare has nine classrooms and a big playground with a basketball court. The new daycare brought 30 news jobs to the community and has the capacity to serve nearly 150 students.

This weekend's grand opening event is free, and the community is invited to attend. Those interested in stopping out can register online.
