New Stores, Renovation At Gurnee Mills

GURNEE, IL (from Gurnee Mills) — Gurnee Mills, the two million sq. ft. center that is currently undergoing a highly-anticipated, extensive interior renovation, will also be welcoming BoxLunch, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Shee Goo, and Burger King in the coming weeks. RinkSide Sports will also reopen the skating rink soon for Lake County residents to enjoy and take a spin on the ice this winter.

“We are delighted to share the news of several new store openings for our Lake County shoppers to look forward to in early 2018,” said Elizabeth Striegel, director of marketing and business development. “We also couldn’t be happier to share the news of RinkSide reopening, just in time for the community to take part in their favorite winter sports.”

BoxLunch will join the roster of nearly 200 outlet and full-price retailers, along with family-friendly dining and entertainment offerings, mid-February. The over 4,000 sq. ft. space, located near Entry F, will boast pop culture-inspired gifts, accessories and apparel for men and women. Additionally, with every $10 shoppers spend on BoxLunch pop culture-themed product, BoxLunch will help provide a meal secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local member food banks. Whether shoppers fancy Disney and Star Wars inspired product or Harry Potter and Nintendo garb there is a pop culture theme for all.

Opening their doors mid-January, Burger King, will have two new locations within Gurnee Mills. Shoppers can enjoy the fast-food staple in either Dine-O-Rama, located by Entry J, or in the Dining Pavilion, near Entry E. Shoppers with a hankering for sweets will be thrilled with the opening of Shee Goo, a signature rolled ice cream from the streets of Thailand, slated to open mid-February, near Entry A.

Slated to open early spring, the aroma of Gloria Jean’s Coffees will sweep the mega-mall. Located near Entry J, shoppers can refuel with a caffeine jolt and sip on the specialty coffees.
