Police Search For Missing Hunter In Lake County

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Police are searching for a 60-year-old man reportedly went missing while hunting on Fourth Lake, authorities said.

Patrick R. Serzynski, of unincorporated Lake Villa, was last heard from around 10 a.m. Monday when he was hunting in his duck blind on Fourth Lake, according to a Facebook post from the Lake County Sheriff's Office. Fourth Lake is located south of Lindenhurst and west of Gurnee.

The search on the lake was suspended Monday evening, police said. Authorities have recovered his boat.

Police are planning to resume their search on Tuesday morning.
