GRAYSLAKE, IL - The District 127 Board of Education is looking for the public’s input as they begin the process of selecting a new superintendent.

Superintendent Catherine Finger is set to retire at the end of the 2016-17 school year and the school board has begun the process to select a new superintendent. The board of education is looking for feedback from members of the school district through focus groups, online survey and an interview process, according to the school district’s website.

The online survey can be found here and will be available through June 15, according to school district officials.

The school board is hoping to have a final selection made for its new superintendent by December. The new superintendent will start on July 1, 2017.
