Pumpkin Fest Planned For Grayslake

The festival will be held on Oct. 14 and will include a costume contest, character path and Halloween games.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — The Grayslake Park District will host a Pumpkin Fest Thursday.

The festival will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will include a costume contest, hay rides, character path and Halloween games, according to the park district website.

Pre-registration will run through Oct. 13 with the cost being $9 for residents and $11 for non-residents. Walk-in registration for the event is $15.

Adult attendance is free with a paying child, park district officials say.

A rain date for the event will be Oct. 21.
