Q. What can we do now to prepare our house for market?

A.  Since the snow has finally melted and we can see the ground, I feel kind of like Noah probably felt when he first saw the ground after the flood, we can see what we have left from this hard winter.  Now would be a perfect time to take some 'before' pictures.  Then as more things start to green up and you shift some of your plants around, keep taking pictures.  Do this all year and you will end up with some great shots of your property in all seasons.  Buyers will love to see this.  Don't forget to include some things like bird feeders, with birds feeding if possible.  Include any plants that have berries or anything that attracts wildlife.  For example if you have a butterfly garden, or any special spots in your yard.  This is not only good for future buyers, but helps you know what to plant to improve your yard in different seasons.  You will have a lot of fun doing this and it will probably give you a lot of ideas.
