Report of Man Threatening To Shoot Wife Was False: Police
The incident reported early Tuesday in Warren Township is under investigation.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office was called to a Warren Township home early Tuesday for a report of a man threatening to shoot his wife, police said. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrived at about 5:15 a.m. at a home in the 17600 block of Dawn Court and established a perimeter around the house, according to a news release from the Lake Co. Sheriff’s Office.
Police made contact with the occupants of the home, and a man and woman came out of the residence, according to a news release. Through an interview with both individuals, Sheriff’s deputies learned there was no domestic incident.
There was also no indication there was going to be a shooting or any act of violence, police said.
