Savanna Scenes #18 - First Snow

Fall? Winter? Who knows. The first snow that fell on Nov. 11 coated the trees that had yet to lose their leaves in the Rollins Savanna in Grayslake.

I love the juxtaposition of the green leaves and red berries against the fresh white snow. It seems that no one is ready for winter yet - not even nature.
