Savanna Scenes #24 - Deer Crossing
Sometimes you are sharing the path with nature in the Rollins Savanna Forest Preserve. This day earlier in the fall, Bambi almost walked right up to me.
A deer looking just like Bambi crossed the path just in front of me before bounding off into the grasses. The photos are slightly blurry because I was startled by the deer and tried to get as many photos as possible without disturbing it. You just never know what you might see in the Rollins Savanna Forest Preserve in Grayslake.
