Hidden back in among the lush green trees in the Rollins Savanna, there stood a bare bones tree stripped naked of its leaves. I liked how it stood out among the others. What was the story, I wondered. Did it get hit by lightning? Is the tree dying? Or is it just in a season of looking less like a full tree and more like a skeleton?
