Robert Crown School in Wauconda is closed Thursday as school officials deal with a sewer line break.
WAUCONDA, IL — Robert Crown School in Wauconda is closed Thursday due to a sewer line break, according to a post on the Wauconda CUSD 118 Twitter page. School officials alerted parents to the issue Wednesday night.
"The line was unable to be fixed this evening and the smell in the school is not conducive to occupancy," according to the post on the CUSD 118 Twitter page.
School officials are expected to let parents and staff members know later on Thursday whether school would be in session on Friday.
