Taste Of Grayslake Family Picnic Has Food, Carnival Rides, Fireworks
The annual community event will take place this weekend at Central Park and has plenty of live music, games, business booths and offerings.

GRAYSLAKE, IL β An annual Grayslake summertime favorite that boasts samplings from some of the best local restaurants and eateries is on tap again for this weekend and will add another dimension this year that is sure to be a hit among attendees.
The annual Taste of Grayslake Family Picnic and Fireworks will take place from 3-10 p.m. on Saturday in Central Park.
While the event has always been built around food offerings and family activities, organizers announced that this yearβs picnic and fireworks extravaganza will include a full slate of carnival rides including a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, carnival games, and other attractions that are being provided by Alpine Amusement.

Tickets for the attractions will be sold for $1.25 apiece for 18 for $20, organizers said.
As expected, the event β which is put on by the Grayslake Community Park District - will feature plenty of local food offerings including food trucks from BBQ Productions, the Brat Shop, Grayslake Dog N Suds, Nothing Bundt Cake, Pierogi Rig, Rainbow Cone, Supermercado Sam Judas, Tropical Chill, Tres Flores Funnel Cakes, Your Sisterβs Tomato, The Pink Cupcake, Mama Jerk N Tings, Papa Johnβs and Ingridβs Tasty Treats.

The event also features local beer and wine offerings as well as a number of local business vendors.
Live music will be provided by Pino Farina Band from 4:30-7 p.m. before Vinyl Goldmine performs from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Fireworks will close out the event at dusk, organizers said.
