It's small and not updated, but that adds to the small town appeal." Another reviewer from Grayslake sad, "Fred's is a local place that serves breakfast and lunch with a lot of humor. Everyone in Lake County is aware of Fred's and the small place fills up early and often. Great home cooked food that you can customize. The staff is wonderful and the humor with each order is wonderful."
