Trick-or-Treat Hours Set for Grayslake

Trick-or-treating will be held on Halloween.

GRAYSLAKE, IL - Can you believe it -- Halloween is right around the corner?

It's time to start planning those costumes for your little ghosts and goblins. And it's also time to mark your calendar for upcoming trick-or-treating hours for the village of Grayslake. This year's regular trick-or-treating will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 31.

In addition, the 2016 Chamber of Commerce will host Business Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, October 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Grayslake, according to a news release.

In conjunction with this event, the village will hold its annual open house where residents can visit the village hall, 10 Seymour Ave., see the famous snowglobe collection, have a balloon animal made by the balloonist, take your pictures with a public works truck or sit in a Police Department squad vehicle.

There will be carnival games, candy and more.
