USG Announces the Promotion of New Corporate Officers
At the recent meeting of the USG Corporation Board of Directors, four individuals were appointed corporate officers of the company.
At the recent meeting of the USG Corporation Board of Directors, the following individuals were appointed corporate officers of the company, effective January 1, 2015. Headquartered in Chicago, USG Corp. is a 112-year-old, $3.6 billion leading building material manufacturing and distribution company with more than 9,000 employees around the world.
Lisle resident Kenneth Banas, previously treasurer, was promoted to Vice President and Treasurer, USG Corporation. Mr. Banas is responsible for the leadership and direction of the Treasury function, including all aspects of USGβs capital strategy and structure. He will continue to implement Treasury operations policies and procedures and is responsible for USGβs global risk management, hedging strategies, merger and acquisition financing, credit and pension funding strategies and programs. Mr. Banas is also accountable for Investor Relations activities.
Lisle resident Jeanette A. Press, previously corporate controller, accounting, was promoted to Vice President and Controller, USG Corporation. Ms. Press has direct oversight of analysis, interpretation and presentation of financial statements. She leads the corporate and technical accounting groups to drive accounting consistency and appropriate application across the company.

Naperville resident Chris Rosenthal, previously senior vice president, Human Resources, Building Systems and L&W Supply, and senior director, Compensation and Benefits, was promoted to Vice President, Compensation, Benefits and Corporate Services, USG Corporation. Mr. Rosenthal is accountable for the design and administration of the Corporationβs compensation and benefit programs as well as fleet, travel and office services.
Round Lake resident Srinivas Veeramasuneni, previously senior director, Corporate Innovation Center (CIC), was promoted to Vice President, Corporate Innovation Center, USG Corporation. Dr. Veeramasuneni will have oversight for the CIC organization located in Libertyville, and he will promote collaborative research priorities to enhance USGβs competitive position and profitability by continuously developing effective research programs.
