Voices Of Grayslake Winner To Perform Before Tree Lighting
The newly-formed Grayslake Performing Arts Collaborative is accepting video submissions through Nov. 19.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — A new arts collaborative in Grayslake is searching for the best singing voices in town. The Voices of Grayslake competition is underway and the winner will get the chance to perform prior to the village's tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 26.
The Grayslake Performing Arts Collaborative, which was started in recent weeks by Jordan Debbink-Lesniak, is accepting video submissions for the competition through Nov. 19. As part of the audition, singers should introduce themselves and then sing a version of Chestnuts roasting on an open Fire, Oh Christmas Tree or It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Videos should be less than two minutes in length.
Video submissions can be emailed to Jordan Debbink-Lesniak at the GPAC or sent to the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce's Facebook page as a private message.

Debbnik-Lesniak said the newly-formed arts collaborative is made up of a group of people "who are passionate about and dedicated to providing collaborative performing arts experiences for youth and adults in the Grayslake area."
This isn't the first time Debbnik-Lesniak has been involved in forming a collaborative arts group.
