W. Maple Avenue And Milwaukee Avenue Crosswalk Replacement

The area will be closed to through-traffic Nov. 3-6.

W. Maple Avenue, between Brainerd Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue, will be closed to through-traffic starting on Tuesday, November 3rd to Friday, November 6th due to the scheduled replacement of the brick paver crosswalk at the Milwaukee Avenue intersection. During the closure, the brick crosswalk will be removed, and the intersection will be closed. Businesses and residences along W. Maple Avenue will be accessible from Brainerd Avenue or North Stewart Avenue, and some street parking will be available away from the work area. For any questions regarding the construction, please contact the Engineering Division Office at (847) 918-2100 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. For any problems which may develop after hours, please call the Police non-emergency number (847) 362-8310, and they will contact the proper personnel for follow-up.
