Waukegan Woman Gets $175K Bond For Burglary: Lake County Blotter

ARRESTS

FALSE REPORTING OF AN OFFENSE

Joshua J. McCarthy, 33, of the 38400 block of N Green Bay Road, Beach Park, is accused of having a warrant for false reporting of an offense, driving while license suspended, and was arrested Nov. 2 in the Beach Park. His bond was set at $25,000, and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 19.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

• Nicholas B. Schambari, 32, of the 12900 block of W Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, is accused of no driver's license, and was arrested on Nov. 2 at Route 41 and School Road, Unincorporated Gurnee. His bond was set at $1,500.
• Lorenzo Bacerra, 20, of the 2700 block of Westwood Drive, Waukegan, is accused of no driver's license, aggravated speeding (72 mph in a 40 mph zone), and was arrested Nov. 7 at Sheridan and Blanchard roads, Beach Park. His bond was set at $1,500.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Nicole L. Alexander, 42, of Beach Park, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 2 in Beach Park. Her bond was set at $20,000, and she was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 10.
• Carlos J. Lebron, 40, of Beach Park, is accused of having a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 5 in Beach Park. His bond was set at $5,000, and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 16.
• Malik R. Moore, 25, no permanent address, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 6 in Beach Park. His bond was set at $75,000, and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 25.
• Daniel S. Gibson, 35, of Volo, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 8 in Volo His bond was set at $5,000, and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 17.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

• Jesus Ornelas, 30, of the 35700 block of Laurel Avenue, Ingleside, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of cannabis, no insurance, and was arrested Nov. 3 in Ingleside. His bond was set at $3,000, and he was assigned a court date of Dec. 23.
• Michael W. Willock, 44, of the 2100 block of Briar Hill Drive, Schaumburg, is accused of having a warrant out of Cook County for driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Nov. 3 at Route 12 and Brandenburg, Volo. His bond was set at $5,000, and his court date in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the police report.
• Megan K. M. McKimmy, 28, of the 37000 block of Route 59, Unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Nov. 4 at Route 59 and Lehmann Boulevard, Unincorporated Lake Villa. Her bond was set at $3,000, and she was assigned a court date of Dec. 23.
• Antim K. Patel, 23, of the 1200 block of Wheeling Road, Mount Prospect, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Nov. 5 at Rollins and Devlin roads, Fox Lake. Bond was set at $3,000, and a court date of Dec. 23 was assigned.
• Robert T. Malecki, 44, of the 900 block of W Shiloh Drive, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver's license, no insurance, and was arrested Nov. 7 at Route 59 and Grass Lake Road, Unincorporated Antioch. His bond was set at $3,000, and he was assigned a court date of Dec. 16.
• Luis A. Ambriz, 32, of the 300 block of Stanton Court, Round Lake, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Nov. 8 at Wilson Road and Lakeview Avenue, Ingleside. His bond was set at $3,000, and he was assigned a court date of Dec. 23.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY

Lorenzo D. Cross, 24, of the 1400 block of Acorn Drive, North Chicago, is accused of having a warrant for aggravated battery, aggravated battery with a firearm out of Marion County, and was arrested Nov. 3 in the North Chicago. His bond was set at $150,000, and his court date in Marion County was to be determined at the time of the report.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

Michael R. Thorn, 32 of the 1700 block of Kedron Boulevard, Zion, is accused of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Nov. 4 in the 10200 block of Beach Road, Beach Park. His bond was set at $1,500, and he was assigned a court date of Dec. 4.

AGGRAVATED SPEEDING

Jhonatan Hernandez, 23, of the 500 block of Lagoon Terrace, Round Lake Beach, is accused of aggravated speeding for driving 83 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone, and was arrested Nov. 4 at Route 45 and Rollins Road, Unincorporated Gurnee. His bond was set at $1,500.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Amari L. Copeland, 22, of the 3500 block of Wembley Drive, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, speeding (75 mph in a 35 mph zone), and was arrested Nov. 4 at Lewis and Sunset avenues, Waukegan. His bond was set at $1,500.
• Christian N. Hansen, 25, of the 3000 block of Eschol Lane, Zion, is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested Nov. 6 at Chicago Avenue and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. His bond was set at $1,500.
• Deisy M. Radilla-Orosco, 19, of the 1100 block of Woodlawn Circle Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, aggravated speeding (87 mph in a 55 mph zone), and was arrested at Nov. 6 at Route 120 and River Road, Waukegan. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Dario Salazar, 45, of the 1000 block of Wadsworth Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Nov. 7 at Route 137 and St. Mary's Road, Green Oaks. His bond was set at $1,500.
• Li'Kia Liggins 21, of the Racine, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Nov. 8 at Grass Lake Road and Bald Eagle Lane, Unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Dominique L. Drake, 31, of the 300 block of Burton Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested Nov. 8 at Route 45 and Rollins Road, Unincorporated Gurnee. Her bond was set at $1,500.

AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

Nicholas T. Niminski Jr., 35, of the 28000 block of W Main Street, Unincorporated Wauconda, is accused of having a warrant for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and was arrested Nov. 4 in Unincorporated Wauconda. His bond was set at $100,000, and he was assigned a court date of Dec. 1.

POSSESSION OF A STOLEN AUTOMOBILE

Jason P. Borre, 42, of the 17700 block of W Peterson Road, Unincorporated Libertyville, is accused of having a warrant for possession of a stolen automobile, retail theft, and was arrested Nov. 4 in the 0-100 block of S Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Waukegan. His bond was set at $50,000, and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 24.

THEFT

• Terenza Foster, 30, of the 600 block of Hill Street, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for theft, retail theft, and was arrested Nov. 4 in the Waukegan. Bond was set at $100,000, and Foster was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 10.
• James A. Hoel, 37, of Pensacola, Florida, is accused of theft, and was arrested Nov. 8 in the 34600 block of N Gerberding Avenue, Ingleside. His bond was set at $1,500, and he was assigned a court date of Dec. 2.

BURGLARY

Joy S. McCray 33, of the 600 block of Hill Street, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for burglary, and was arrested Nov. 4 in Waukegan. Her bond was set at $175,000, and she was assigned a court date of Dec. 2.

RETAIL THEFT

Mary Jackson, 30, of the 600 block of Hill Street, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested Nov. 4 in Waukegan. Her bond was set at $20,000, and she was assigned a court date of Nov. 19.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Cody D. Freeman, 36, of the 700 block of S McAlister Street, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant out of Cook County for criminal damage to property, and out of LaPorte, Indiana, for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Nov. 4 in Waukegan. Bond was set at $6,000, and court in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the police report.

ENDANGERING THE LIFE OF A CHILD

Arthur A. Cal, 39, of the 200 block of Terra Firma Lane, Volo, is accused of endangering the life of a child, and was arrested Nov. 5 in Volo. His bond was set at $1,500, and he was assigned a court date of Dec. 7.

CONTEMPT OF COURT

Robert Spurlock, 35, of the 38400 block of N Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of having a warrant for contempt of court, and was arrested Nov. 5 in Beach Park. His bond was set at $1,500, and he was sentenced to six months of periodic imprisonment. Spurlock was assigned a court date of Nov. 19.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A PEACE OFFICER

Matthew G. Hansen, 26, of the 0-100 block of Primlico Court, Grayslake, is accused of having a warrant for aggravated battery to a peace officer, and was arrested Nov. 6 in Grayslake. His bond was set at $20,000, and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 25.
