Yingling Announces Job Boot Camp; Offers Resume Workshop Event

GRAYSLAKE Ill. – State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is teaming up with the Lake County Work Force Center and Grayslake Library to provide residents of western Lake County a free resume workshop event. The event will be held Wednesday, July 8 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Grayslake Public Library, located at 100 Library Lane in Grayslake.

“In addition to fighting for quality jobs and championing policies that encourage growth and return prosperity to our state, I believe it is important to offer residents opportunities to help them in their pursuits of employment,” Yingling said. “This event is a perfect opportunity for people to learn how to make their resumes stick out from the rest, giving them an advantage in the workforce, and I look forward to connecting job seekers with the tools that can help them achieve financial stability.”

Attendees will learn how to fully document their knowledge, skills and experiences with written tools, including applications, social media, email, letters and resumes.
