GRAYSLAKE, Ill. – Continuing to build upon his green agenda and working to maximize his availability to all constituency groups, state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is hosting a forum dedicated to conservation and ecological issues Wednesday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake. Representatives from the Illinois Environmental Council, Illinois Sierra Club, and the Woods and Wetlands Group will join Yingling.

“In addition to my work to lower taxes for working families and reducing government waste, I have made championing policies that promote responsible stewardship of our natural resources a legislative priority,” Yingling said. “I continue to hear from a number of constituents whose top issues pertain to the environment and this forum is the perfect venue to talk about the progress we’ve made and the steps we need to take to ensure a healthy and sustainable future for generations to come.”

Jennifer Walling of the Illinois Environmental Council, Jack Darin of the Illinois Sierra Club, and Barbara Klipp of the Woods and Wetlands Group will join Yingling to provide a legislative update and answer attendees’ questions.

RSVPs are preferred and interested participants are encouraged to contact Yingling’s full-time constituent service office at 847-231-6262, or repsamyingling@gmail.com. Yingling represents the 62nd District, which contains portions of Gages Lake, Grayslake, Hainesville, Third Lake, the Round Lake communities, Wauconda and Wildwood.
