GRAYSLAKE, Ill. –State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, is reminding local seniors to join his office and the office of the Illinois Attorney General for a free anti-fraud event on Tuesday, August 4 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the Round Lake Park District’s Senior Center on Hart Rd.
“Enlisting the Attorney General’s Office to provide area seniors a free and informative presentation about the ways to better protect themselves from fraud and abuse is part of my continued advocacy for the older constituents of my district,” Yingling said. “This event will educate seniors about the various scams being perpetrated by criminals, and I am reminding and encouraging area seniors to join this seminar.”
A representative from the Attorney General’s office will give a presentation on the various ways people can protect themselves from fraud and identity theft. This event is free and open to the public. RSVPs are not necessary, but they are appreciated. To RSVP or for more information, please contact Yingling’s full time constituent service office by phone at 847-231-6262.
“This important anti-fraud event is one of the many ways I remain open and accessible to the people I represent,” Yingling said. “In addition to learning about ways to protect themselves from dangerous financial crimes, this event will also provide participants opportunities to interact with my office and receive additional assistance they may need with regards to state agencies and state issues.”
Yingling represents the 62nd District, which contains portions of Gages Lake, Grayslake, Hainesville, the Round Lake communities, Wauconda and Wildwood.
