Your Guide to Grayslake Summer Days

The two-day festival will be held Friday and Saturday in downtown Grayslake.

The summer may be winding down but there will be plenty of outdoor fun on tap this weekend at the 2016 Grayslake Summer Days.

The festival will be held Friday and Saturday at Center and Whitney Streets in downtown Grayslake.

Here is a look at events scheduled for this weekend’s festival:

FRIDAY

  • 5 p.m.: Carnival Games/Food Booths/ Attractions
  • 5 p.m.: Business Booth Area Open6
  • 7 to 10 p.m.: Bingo (BL-52035)/Bingo Tent
  • 8 p.m.: Deeze Guize
  • 10 p.m.: Mike & Joe (Main Stage)

Saturday

  • 12 p.m.: Carnival Games/Food Booths/ Attractions
  • 12 p.m.: Business Booth Area Open
  • 12 p.m.: Pet & Bike Parade – Parade Line Up on Slusser Street
  • 12:30 p.m.: Dave Rudolf, Children’s Entertainer (Main Stage)
  • 1 p.m.: Go-Kart Races (Park & Whitney)
  • 1 p.m.: Bags Tournament 3:30 Slam Funk (Motown)
  • 4 p.m.: Grayslake Rotary—”Kiss the Pig” Contest
  • 5 p.m.: Svelte Bobby and the Soulfixers
  • 5 to 9 p.m.: 102.3 Radio Appearance
  • 3 to 10 p.m.: Bingo (BL-52035) – Bingo Tent
  • 6:30 p.m.: Summer Days Parade “Music Makes the World Go Round. Line-Up begins at Grayslake Central High School. Parade ends at festival site at Center & Seymour Avenue.
  • 8 p.m.: Blush
  • 10 p.m.: 7th Heaven (Main Stage)
