16 Highland Park Students Selected For ILMEA Music Festivals

From Highland Park High School: Several students participated in the Illinois Music Educators Association District VII Music Festivals. These students auditioned with hundreds of other high school musicians from Northeastern Illinois and were chosen based on their tone, technique and reading skills. They will perform in the District VII festivals in November where they will work with college conductors from around the country. These HPHS students will join their peers from over 50 other high schools in a day of intensive rehearsals culminating in a festival performance.

Below are this year’s HPHS participants. It is a huge honor to audition let alone be accepted into one of the groups and we are so proud of all the students.
