2 Charged With Excessive Speeding in Highland Park: Cops

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

SPEEDING

Bruce R. Cohen, 55, Chicago was arrested and charged with speeding 35+ MPH over the limit after police conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 7:48 a.m. on Jan. 8.

Aryk S. Crowder, 37, Chicago was arrested and charged with speeding 35+ MPH over the limit after police conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Half Day Road at 9:19 a.m. on Jan. 8.

THEFT

On Jan. 3 it was reported that an unknown subject(s) stole multiple items from a closet within a facility located in the 1300 block of Clavey Road between 5:18 p.m. on Dec. 21 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 3.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

On Jan. 4 it was reported that an unknown subject(s) damaged a fence and pushed in a garage door during the overnight hours of Jan. 3 to a residence located in the 800 block of Driscoll Court.

ASSAULT

On Jan. 4 it was reported that two male subjects were involved in a physical altercation at a facility located in the 2700 block of Skokie Valley Road. The incident is still under investigation.
