3 Men Charged With Burglarizing Pleasant Avenue Home
A Chicago man is accused of obstructing a police officer in a Skokie Valley Road incident.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
BURGLARY
Police responded to the 400 block of Pleasant Avenue for a report of a residential burglary in process at 7:35 a.m. on June 8. Kenneth Moore, 21, Chicago was arrested and charged with three counts of burglary, Alan Sanchez, 22, of the 1700 block of Old Deerfield Road was charged with three counts of burglary and resisting a police officer and Matthew Maka, 21, Oak Lawn was charged with three counts of burglary, driving under the influence and driving while license suspended.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Edward Franke, 51, of the 1200 block of Forest Avenue was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and disobeying a traffic control device after being stopped by police in the 700 block of Central Avenue at 10:45 a.m. on June 8.

DOMESTIC BATTERY
Robert Semrad, Jr., 47, of the 1900 block of Richfield Avenue was arrested and charged with domestic battery, interference with the reporting of a domestic battery and criminal sexual assault after police located a female subject requesting help at 4:16 a.m. on June 10.
AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT / CREDIT CARD FRAUD
Niko Gaston, 21, Chicago was arrested and charged with aggravated identity theft, credit card fraud and obstructing a police officer after police responded to the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road for a report of a subject attempting to use several credit cards to purchase gift cards at 6:35 p.m. on June 10.
NO VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE
James Friar, 22, North Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, no valid driver’s license, uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed after police responded to a two car accident in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 9:40 p.m. on June 13.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
Unknown person(s) took a black briefcase from an unlocked Range Rover while parked in the 1100 block of Crofton Avenue North at 3:52 p.m. on June 9. The briefcase contained a wallet, keys, date book and other business documents.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Wooden molding was reported broken on a shed in the 0-50 block of Ravine Drive at 5:15 p.m. on June 13.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Unknown person(s) knocked a wooden fence down between 2-4:15 p.m. on June 14 in the 0-100 block of Blackhawk Road.
