For over 35 years, the North Shore School of Dance (NSSD) has been a leader in dance education and professional training. Our dedicated faculty provides high-quality instruction in a nurturing, disciplined, and inspiring environment. We strive to educate the mind, body, and soul—honoring the tradition of dance as an art form. At NSSD, we don’t just teach routines—we teach students how to dance. Our training builds confidence, discipline, and lifelong skills Classes are offered in ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, Pre-school dance, Mommy and me, and adult classes.

The 3rd annual "Parkinson's Chili Cook-Off," a competition and fundraising event is on Sunday, October 18, 2015, 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.The public is invited to enjoy a day full of competition, prizes, raffles, silent auctions, chili tastings, drinks, football programming, games and bowling. For dedicated chili aficionados, this is your chance to taste multiple recipes and vote for your favorite. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize for best chili will be voted on by a panel of judges. No cover but donations are accepted.
