The 5th Annual Stepping Out for Parkinson's Fun Run & Walk

Benefitting Parkinson's Research at NorthShore University HealthSystem Neurological Institute

Step up and join the fight against Parkinson’s disease at the 5th Annual Stepping Out for Parkinson’s Fun Run and Walk in Vernon Hills. Runners, walkers and advocates alike will make their way through the Half Day Forest Preserve during this 5K Fun Run, half-mile walk or one and a half-mile walk, enjoying time with family and friends while raising funds for Parkinson’s disease research. Following the run/walk, participants will gather for lunch, games, have the opportunity to participate in a raffle and bid on a wonderful array of silent auction items. Special guests Anna and Elsa from Frozen will also be on hand to take pictures with the youngest participant princesses!

Proceeds from the 5th annual Stepping Out for Parkinson’s event will support leading-edge research at NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) Neurological Institute where physicians and scientists are helping to identify the best medication to prevent and treat Parkinson’s disease. NorthShore’s broad range of research and clinical trials bring more options—and more hope—to patients and their families.

For more information about NorthShore or ways to support the innovative care and research being provided by NorthShore Neurological Institute, please call (224) 364-7200 or visit foundation.northshore.org.
