6 Charged in Connection with Shooting of Highland Park Teen
Charges filed as investigation into Thursday's shooting that wounded an HPHS student is completed.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - Six adults have been charged in connection to the shooting that injured a teenage boy from Highland Park High School last week.
All six, including a North Chicago man previously identified as a "person of interest" in the case, were arrested at the scene of a traffic stop Sunday afternoon near Route 41 and Route 137 in Highland Park, according to a news release from the city.
The two juveniles who were arrested the day of the shooting have also been charged.

Two cars collectively held all six adults who were charged in the shooting and were stopped at the same location. One of the cars, police said, was the one from which the shots were fired at the student Thursday evening at Waukegan Avenue and Orchard Lane.

The student was treated at Highland Park Hospital, where police were first made aware of the situation, and released that night. Media reports indicate the victim is a 14-year-old boy.
William Servin, 19, the "person of interest," was charged with several offenses including aggravated discharge of a firearm, reckless discharge of firearm and mob action.
Also charged with similar offenses were Jonathan Servin, 18 of Beach Park; Giles Cassarubius, 19 of Highwood; Fredy Montoya, 20 of Waukegan; Kevin Rolon, 18 of Gurnee and Marco Barete, 25 of Highwood.
