$6K Mail Theft: Highland Park Crime Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

THEFT

  • Property - June 22 at 4:44 p.m.
    • A resident reported to police that somebody had stolen items from their property in the 400 block of Red Oak Lane.
  • Property - June 24 at 10:42 a.m.
    • An employee working in the Park West Medical Plaza reported that their iPad had been taken from their desk drawer.
  • Mail - June 24 at 5 p.m.
    • A resident living in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue told police that a card was taken from their mailbox. Police said the total estimated loss is $6,000.
  • Retail - June 25 at 11:55 a.m.
    • An employee at the Ulta located at 135 Skokie Valley Rd. reported that a man had taken $1,200 worth of merchandise without paying.
