Allstate To Sponsor Ravinia's Classical Acts
First time in more than a century popular Festival gets a sponsor for classical music acts.
Northbrook-based Allstate Insurance Company will sponsor Ravinia Festival’s classical music events this summer, the Chicago Tribune reports.
It’s the first time in the 111-year history of the Festival in which there will be a sponsor for those events, which make up about 65 percent of the Festival’s offerings.
In a statement, Ravinia CEO Welz Kauffman called the Allstate sponsorship “well-directed, desperately needed and infinitely appreciated.”

Among the headline acts planned for Ravinia Festival 2015 are Tony Bennet/Lady Gaga, Aretha Franklin and Santana.
