HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is a record of arrests and incidents reported to police provided by the Highland Park Police Department. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

David Charak, 49, of the 1600 block of First Street, was arrested and charged with driving with driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane usage, improper display of license plates and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 1100 block of Central Avenue around 8:15 p.m. on May 27. Charak was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 23, 2017 in Waukegan.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Dennis Bell, 52, of the 1600 block of N. Long in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with driving while license suspended, speeding and possession of cannabis after being stopped by police in the 100 block of the Edens Expressway shortly after midnight on the morning of May 28. Bell was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 14, 2017 in Park City.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Carolina Gonsales-Moreno, 40, of the 400 block of Mirrorgreen in Round Lake was arrested and charged with driving with driving while license suspended, failure to secure child in child restraint and improper lane usage after being stopped by police near Park Avenue West and Skokie Valley Road at 1:18 a.m. on May 28. Gonsales-Moreno was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 14, 2017 in Park City.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Susan Hawes, 52, of the 1600 block of Second Street in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with driving with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, expired driver’s license and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police near the intersection of St. Johns Avene and Central Avenue shortly after 7:30 p.m. on May 28. Hawes was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 16, 2017 in Waukegan.
INCIDENTS
THEFT
A Weber grill, a portable fire pit, copper tubing and an antique wheelbarrow were reported missing from a shed in the rear of a residence located in the 1000 block of Cherry Lane around 1:30 p.m. on May 23.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Around 6 p.m. on May 23, officers discovered broken items in the rear area of the former Greenberg Radiology building as well as an open door located in the 1500 block of Park Avenue West.
THEFT
Four plants were reportedly uprooted and removed from the front yard of a residence located in the 1100 block of Green Bay Road sometime between May 22, 2017 at 8: p.m. and May 23, 2017 at 5 a.m.
RETAIL THEFT
A person described as a woman reportedly stole a French Kanda beaded necklace with a coin on it from a display table at a business located in the 1800 block of Green Bay Road around 5 p.m. on May 27.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Someone threw a small rock through a first floor window of a residence in the 2000 block of Dale Avenue, it was reported at 10:12 p.m. on May 27.
