The Art Center - Highland Park Names New Executive Director

Michele Cohen has been named to the post.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - The Art Center - Highland Park has hired Michele Cohen, an experienced nonprofit leader, as its next executive director.

Most recently, Cohen served as the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Vice President of a nonprofit organization affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS, where she worked with local and state businesses, schools, government officials and community members to increase awareness of the organization.

According to a news release, Cohen will "continue TAC’s commitment to education in the contemporary visual arts through classes, outreach programs, exhibits, and events."

“I am excited to be connected with an organization that focuses on art enrichment for all ages and purposes," Cohen said. "Through its school, best-in-class exhibitions, art events, rental event spaces, scholarship programs, and dedicated stakeholders, TAC is a gem that continues to explore opportunities to serve members and communities.
