Art wear Unlimited Spring/Summer Trunk Show and Sale Returns to Highland Park, April 21-23

Chicagoland's Favorite Wearable Art Trunk Show to Feature 40 Artists from Across the Country

Art wear Unlimited, the North Shore’s premier wearable art semi-annual show, returns to Highland Park April 21-23. Held twice per year in the spring and fall, the three-day trunk show features a one-of-a-kind wearable art for the fashion individualist including clothing, accessories and studio jewelry hand-crafted from 40 talented artists from across the country. This free and open to the public trunk show will be held at Lakeside Congregation which offers free parking and easy access to the Edens Expressway.

Organized by Highland Park residents and artists Linda Brodson, a corporate art consultant in Chicago and Kathy Sackheim, the former owner of a needlepoint store in Winnetka, the event offers women a rare opportunity to purchase exclusive items at a variety of price points from a curated group of renowned artists. Brodson and Sackheim have been producing the show for nine years, each year carefully curating a collection of quality pieces of wearable art that are exceptionally designed.

“If you’re looking for unique merchandise to make a classic black outfit pop, you’ve come to the right place,” said Brodson. ”The works of art we select are carefully chosen, never duplicated, and not from a local department store.”

“We travel the country each year seeking out exciting artists who specialize in fashion for individuals of exceptional taste. We are very proud of the spring/summer collection and look forward to offering our customers merchandise that’s completely unique,” added Sackheim.

This year’s show will feature jewelry by Chicago’s own NanC Meinhardt, Laurie Danch, and Takara. Customers will also find clothing by Dress to Kill, Mary Lou Ozbolt Storer, Kerr Grabowski and Doshi; and accessories by Sally Jones, Yuh Okano and Mountain Hides of Winnetka.
