Associate Board of NorthShore HealthSystem Raises $110,000
This year's benefit hosted a record-breaking 360 attendees, to raise money in support of NorthShore's tiniest patients and their families.
The Associate Board of NorthShore University HealthSystem raised nearly $110,000 during their recent Mardi Gras Benefit at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
The evening featured a raffle, silent auction, hors d'oeuvres, libations, dessert bar, fortune teller and fabulous entertainment.
This year's benefit hosted a record-breaking 360 attendees, to raise money in support of NorthShore’s tiniest patients and their families at NorthShore Evanston Hospital’s Henrietta Johnson Louis Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU) and Department of Pediatrics, including an innovative research project led by Dr. Emmet Hirsch to prevent and treat preterm labor.

Proceeds also will support the Associate Board Emergency Family Fund, which provides direct support to underserved families. Since its formation in 2003, The Associate Board has raised more than $1 million for NorthShore.
