Beelow's is Coming to Renaissance Place in Highland Park

Beelow's Steakhouse to Open its 2nd Family-Run Restaurant at Renaissance Place in Downtown Highland Park, IL

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (October 22, 2014) – After a successful four-years in Lake Zurich, Illinois, Beelow’s Steakhouse is opening a second location at Renaissance Place in downtown Highland Park, Illinois. According to Christiane Fischer, General Manager of Renaissance Place, Beelow’s North Shore Steakhouse & Seafood is slated to open in the former Rosebud restaurant space in January 2015.

Proprietor Dan Beelow, part of a third-generation Lake County farming family, says that the Highland Park location will feature an expanded menu, with more fresh fish, several pasta dishes, and a to-go menu. Some of the restaurant’s beef and pork will be supplied by Beelow’s Farms, which is run by his brother Duane. When available, the produce will be locally sourced, including select items from the family farm.

“Highland Park is such a beautiful town,” says Beelow. “There isn’t a restaurant like ours here, so I wanted to share the Beelow’s dining experience with this great community. I really like the downtown ambiance, with people being able to just walk in off the street. I’m happy to be here.”

Mayor Nancy Rotering says she’s looking forward to welcoming Beelow’s to Highland Park. “They will certainly complement our growing restaurant community and Downtown Highland Park merchants,” she says.

“Beelow’s is a perfect fit for Renaissance Place,” says Christiane Fischer. “They hit all the right notes, with their family-friendly, upscale yet casual atmosphere. And I can say from personal experience that the food is fabulous. We couldn’t be happier.”
