Billy Corgan to Perform 4 Shows in May at His Highland Park Tea House
The Smashing Pumpkins frontman's first concert will be Friday at Madame ZuZu's.

Billy Corgan―Smashing Pumpkins frontman, wrestling afficiando and furniture store pitchman―will perform four shows at his Highland Park tea house this month, he announced Monday on his band's Facebook page.

The first show will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Madame ZuZu's Tea House, the establishment he's owned at 582 Roger Williams Ave., since 2012. Corgan will perform with Jeff Schroeder as an extension of the Pumpkins' In Plainsong acoustic-electric music tour.
The dates and times for the other shows are as follows:
- Friday, May 13: 7:30 p.m., with special guest opener Matt Sams
- Saturday, May 21: 7:30 p.m., with special guest opener The Shifties
- Sunday, May 29: 6 p.m.
There are no tickets or a cover charge for the concert, but people must make reservations to attend.
