Bregy Earns National Certification

North Shore School District 112 Superintendent Michael Bregy became part of the first class of district leaders to earn the National Superintendent Certification from AASA, the School Superintendents Association last week. The nearly 30 superintendents from 17 states who completed the 18-month certification process were honored at AASA’s 150th anniversary celebration, according to a District 112 release issued Thursday.

“The opportunity to learn from some of the best superintendents across the country, along with the in-depth professional training I received, was an invaluable experience,” Bregy said. “I was honored to have been selected to be part of the inaugural class of superintendents to receive this training.”
