The Nutcracker

– This holiday season, the magic of The Nutcracker returns as the North Shore School of Dance (NSSD) presents its 37th annual production. The Nutcracker tells the enchanting story of Clara and her Nutcracker prince as they battle the Royal Mouse and embark on a journey through the snowy landscape to the Land of Sweets. Audiences will be captivated by the skillful performances, magical sets, and beautiful costumes that bring Clara’s dream to life.

Dancers from Highland Park and the surrounding suburbs along with special guests from the Chicago Repertory Ballet, Chicago Academy for the Arts, Joffrey Academy, and JSLN Dance Company join students from the North Shore School of Dance to bring the story to life.

Performances will take place on Saturday, December 13th, at 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM, and Sunday, December 14th, at 2:00 PM at Lake Forest Academy, 1500 West Kennedy Road, Lake Forest, IL. This enchanting production is suitable for audiences of all ages. Tickets are priced at $30.00. Early ticket purchase is highly recommended, as this beloved show sells out every year.
