
PILGRIM CHAMBER PLAYERS PRESENTS “VOYAGE EN FRANCE” APRIL 26 AT 3 P M
A Musical Journey Through French Masterworks Featuring CSO Concertmaster Robert Chen
Highland Park, IL (USA) — On Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM, Pilgrim Chamber Players continues its 28th season with "Voyage en France," a captivating exploration of French chamber music featuring works by Debussy, Ravel, and Saint-Saëns at the Highland Park Community House (1991 Sheridan Road). The enchanting program, featuring CSO Concertmaster Robert Chen, showcases the rich textures and expressive depth that define the French chamber music tradition.
"French chamber music represents some of the most beautiful and evocative writing in the repertoire," said Steven Honigberg, cellist and Artistic Director of Pilgrim Chamber Players. “These gorgeous pieces by Debussy, Ravel and Saint-Saëns will transport the concertgoer.”
Special guest artists also include Rose Armbrust Griffin, viola; Steven Honigberg, cello; and Marta Aznavoorian, piano. The ensemble will perform Cello Sonata by Claude Debussy (1915); Piano Trio in A minor by Maurice Ravel (1914); and the Piano Quartet No. 2 in B-flat major, Op. 41 by Camille Saint-Saëns (1875).
General admission tickets are $20 Adults and $10 Students. Ticket price includes a post-concert reception and the opportunity to mingle with the musicians.
