Center For Brain Health Presents Healthy Eating Tips To Prevent Dementia - Aug. 24

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (AUGUST 24, 2017) – Freedom Home Care, one of Chicagoland’s leading and most respected home care agencies, is inviting the public to attend a special presentation on how to reduce, delay, possibly prevent dementia by eating a proper diet beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, at The Sheridan at Green Oaks, 29330 N Waukegan Road, Lake Bluff, IL. Emmaline Rasmussen, Nutrition Specialist & Clinical Research Dietitian from the Center for Brain Health at NorthShore University HealthSystem will present healthy eating tips for seniors for a healthier brain.

According to research, one-in-five women and one-in-ten men will develop Alzheimer’s in their lifetime. The Center for Brain Health offers unique clinical service to preserve and improve brain health by preventing aging-related brain disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
