Chicago Area Company Scores Touchdown for Super Bowl LI
CREATIVE PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS LAUNCHES FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND VIRTUAL REALITY VPOD AT SUPER BOWL MEDIA CENTER

HOUSTON, TX (JANUARY 30-FEBRUARY 6, 2017)– Skokie based Creative Promotional Products is pleased to unveil a first-of-its-kind virtual performance optimized datacenter (VPod) at Super Bowl LI in Houston, TX, February 5, 2017. The proprietary technology is contained within a 12-foot diameter Virtual Reality (VR) Dome that invites people to step inside to experience video highlights of the City of Houston.
Throughout pre-Super Bowl activities, the VPod will welcome guests, playing a number of unique virtual reality videos highlighting tourist attractions and businesses throughout Houston. As many as ten people can experience the Virtual Reality Dome at one time while standing beneath it, without the use of special headsets or goggles typically needed for a virtual reality experience.
Creative Promotional Products was sought out by Super Bowl representatives, thanks in part to its growing presence in the digital marketplace. According to Dan Granick, President of Creative Promotional Products, “We have produced a number of VR goggle campaigns, but for Houston, our goal was to achieve an experience that could be shared by a number of people together.”

Now, with inquiries coming in from across the country and Europe, Creative Promotional Products is building both rental and ownership models so that its clients can either rent a VPod for a particular event on a weekly basis or purchase their own VPod for a more permanent installation. Granick adds, “this system will be used globally in tourism campaigns, in arenas and coliseums, at conferences and tradeshows and more. The possibilities are endless and we’re thrilled to launch it at the Super Bowl!”
Additionally, Creative Promotional Products has the capability to develop unique VR content for the VPod or institute client-developed content, depending on the project. Users can select which video they want to watch, as several can be programmed into the VPod for any given event. “We partner with our clients and provide any and all services needed to maximize the user experience,” says Jonathan Lee, Director of Marketing at Creative Promotional Products.

Although Creative Promotional Products’ roots lie in the promotional products realm, the Company has always been an industry innovator, pushing the boundaries of what is considered a promotional product. Per Granick, “for over 30 years, Creative Promotional Products has been developing unique products and campaigns for our clients, trading patent development for manufacturing rights a number of times. We see VR and the technology field as the next frontier in promotions, and we are proud to be leading the way at Super Bowl LI with the VPod.”
