Chicagoan Charged with Stealing Cell Phone from Doctor's Office

Criminal damage to property

Felipe Moffett (50) of the 700 block of 111th Street, Chicago was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property after police responded to a disturbance a business in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Moffett was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of November 12, 2014 in Park City.

Simon Gorelik (22) of the 1200 block of Crofton Avenue North, Highland Park was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property after police responded to a dispute at a residence in the 1200 block of Crofton Avenue North, Highland Park. Gorelik was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of October 8, 2014 in Park City.

Driving under the influence

Leslie Stollenwerk-Gleason (49) of the 500 block of Rockefeller Road, Lake Forest was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after being stopped by police near the intersection of Old Elm Road and Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park. Stollenwerk-Gleason was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of October 17, 2014 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.

Shaun Bascom (26) of the 2200 block of Green Bay Rd., North Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, hit and run, uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage after losing control of his vehicle crashing into a tree and bushes near Krenn Avenue and Audubon Place and then leaving the scene on foot. Bascom was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of October 24, 2014 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.

Tayler Hammons-Woodard (22) of the 7800 block of S. Indiana Avenue, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and open transportation of alcohol after being stopped by police on Lake Cook Road near Winona Road. Hammons-Woodard was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of October 10, 2014 at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan.

Theft

Jalisa McGee (24) of the 1600 block of Central Park Ave., Chicago was arrested and charged with theft after police investigated a report of a cell phone being stolen from a doctor’s office in the 700 block of Park Avenue West, Highland Park. McGee was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of October 22, 2014 in Park City.

Forgery

Matthew Hobson (30) of the 6500 block of S. Justine Street, Chicago and Emmanuel Carter (29) of the 6300 block of S. Paulina Street, Chicago were each arrested and charged with forgery after police responded to a business in the 600 block of Elm Place, Highland Park for a report of two subjects presenting fraudulent prescriptions. Hobson and Carter were transported to bond court at 18 N. County Street, Waukegan pending court dates.
