Clean-Up Planned at Highland Park Beaches Saturday

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - September is indeed the end of beach season, so it's time to clean up the mess.

A beach clean-up day is planned at three beaches in Highland Park on Saturday.

Clean-up operations will take place at Park Avenue Boating Beach, Ravine Drive Beach and Rosewood Beach as part of the Park District of Highland Park's work with the Alliance for the Great Lakes in keeping the Great Lakes clean and healthy this weekend.

The clean-up at Ravine Drive Beach and Park Avenue Boating Beach will be from 9-11 a.m. The clean-up at Rosewood Beach will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
