These Highland Park college students earned academic distinctions and degrees over the past semester.
HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Spring semester this year has been an unprecedented one for students and educators at all institutions of higher education. While many commencement ceremonies have been cancelled or moved online in recent weeks, local students have continued to earn academic distinctions and degrees. Highland Park Patch recognizes their accomplishments below.
Talia Aloush, of Highland Park, who is majoring in social work, was named to the University of Iowa dean's list for the spring semester, which requires a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
Alex Bansbach, of Highland Park, was named to the dean's list at Southeast Missouri State University for academic achievement during the spring 2020 semester, which required earning at least a 3.75 grade point average, among other things.
