Complete 2019 Ravinia Schedule Announced

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Ravinia Festival released its full 2019 summer schedule Thursday. The outdoor season kicks off May 31 with a performance from a Chicago jazz legend.

Some of the more than 70 acts making their debuts this year at the nation's longest running outdoor concert series include: Lady Antebellum, Lionel Richie, Morrissey, Nickelback, Queen Latifah, T.I., "Weird Al" Yankovic.

Jennifer Hudson will perform at Ravinia for just the second time as star of the 2019 gala benefit in July. The recently knighted Ringo Starr returns with his supergroup for the first time in 24 years. He will be joined by The Beach Boys for a pair of back-to-back shows in August.

Other returning performers include Buddy Guy, John Prine, Sarah McLachlan and Sting. Tony Bennett will perform his 40th show at the festival in June.

The full lineup features a diverse array of pop, jazz, hip-hop and classical acts, as well as kids shows and special performances. Tickets go on sale to donors starting Tuesday. Members of the general public can start buying tickets on May 7 to concerts in May through July. Tickets for August and September shows go on sale on May 8.
