Cultural Faire Celebrates Global Diversity in the Northern Suburbs

A wide variety of international cultures came together for a festive and educational event on April 17, when the Northbrook Community Relations Commission presented "A Celebration of Cultures" at the North Suburban YMCA. Artwork, clothing, music, dance, and food represented the traditions of over a dozen nations, creating a kaleidoscope of cultural expression. The event, offered to the public free of charge, supported the Community Relations Commission's mission to promote understanding, mutual respect, cooperation, and positive relations among all residents.
