Former District 112 Admin Hired as CFO in Winnetka
Gregory Kurr to take over as CFO in District 36 on July 1.

Winnetka Public Schools District 36 has hired Gregory Kurr to be its next Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer, superintendent Trisha Kocanda announced Wednesday.
Kurr, who will join the District after previously serving as Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Facilities for North Shore School District 112 in Highland Park/Highwood and Business Services Director of Mount Prospect School District 57, where he also served on the School Board, will begin in his new role on July 1 when current CFO Susan Pingitore retires.
Kurr retired from District 112 in 2011.

“I am pleased to welcome Greg Kurr to the District,” said Kocanda. “He is known for his strong command of Illinois school finance and passion for education. He understands the importance of responsible fiscal management while upholding our community’s expectation of high-quality educational programming.”
Kurr said he appreciates “the confidence the Superintendent and Board has shown in me by selecting me to serve as the CFO for The Winnetka Public Schools.”
