Local Leaders Endorse Adam Stolberg For Highland Park City Council: Letter

City Commissioner, community volunteer, lifelong Highland Park resident, Adam Stolberg, who is running to fill Paul Frank’s unexpired two-year term on the Highland Park City Council, has received the endorsement of a wide range of local leaders. Mayor Nancy Rotering, Highland Park City Councilman Tony Blumberg, Former Councilman and Lake County Board Member Paul Frank among many others have thrown their support behind Stolberg.

“Adam has a proven record of working with and on behalf of the community. He has worked collaboratively as a representative of the City with our government and business partners. His thoughtful, comprehensive and transparent approach makes him a perfect addition to the City Council.” stated Mayor Nancy Rotering.

“Adam has the right experience and leadership skills to be an excellent Councilman,” said Former Councilman and current Lake County Board Member Paul Frank.

Highland Park Councilman Tony Blumberg added, “Adam is already a great asset to the City and will be a welcome member to the City Council, ensuring that residents are heard and that our community values are preserved. I know this because he has been doing this for years.”

Stolberg also earned the endorsement of former IL State Rep Lauren Beth Gash, former Councilman Jim Kirsch, Moraine Township Assessor and former 112 School Board member Cynthia Plouche, former Mayor Ray Geraci, former Mayor Pro Tem Margie Weiss, former Mayor Pro Tem Mike Brenner and former Mayor Pro Tem and Park District President Pete Koukos. Stolberg also is honored to receive endorsements from numerous appointed commissioners and sister government elected officials.

“As the longest serving City Councilman in the history of Highland Park, I understand City government and the dedication, knowledge and experience needed to be effective. Adam personifies those necessary qualities we need in a Councilman,” commented Hon. Mike Brenner.

According to Stolberg, the decision to run for Highland Park City Council is a culmination of his almost six years of service to the City on the Plan and Plan & Design Commission, Affordable Housing Task Force Member and community volunteer, coupled with input and encouragement from neighbors, colleagues and community leaders.

“I greatly appreciate the strong support I have received,” said Stolberg. “These endorsements reflect confidence in my dedication, knowledge and most importantly experiences working with our business leaders, City Staff and our residents.
