Excessive Speeder Stopped at Busy HP Intersection: Police

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Brandon Cason, 24, of the 700 block of Linden Avenue in Waukegan, was charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 26. Cason was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Dec. 5 court date.

SPEEDING 35+ MPH OVER LIMIT

Kylee Reynolds, 23, of the 8300 block of Spicebush Trail in Liverpool, NY, was charged with speeding 35 MPH+ over the limit after being stopped by police near the intersection of Half Day and Skokie Valley roads at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 20. Reynolds was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Nov. 26 court date.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Daniel Grossman, 25, of the 400 block of Pine Manor Drive in Wilmette, was charged with driving while license suspended and failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk after being stopped by police near the intersection of Central Avenue and Second Street at 10 a.m. Oct. 26. Grossman was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Dec. 10 court date.
