Driver Pulled Over Going More Than 35 MPH Over the Limit Charged With DUI: Cops

RETAIL THEFT

Cameron Spencer Hillinger, 20, of the 1300 block of Greenwood Avenue, Deerfield, was arrested and charged with retail theft after a June 26 incident in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road.

Hillinger's court date is Aug. 4.

DUI

Gumesindo Avila-Velazquez, 46, of the 100 block of South Archer Avenue, Mundelein, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use, speeding and failure to yield to an authorized emergency vehicle after a July 1 traffic stop.

Police pulled over Avila-Velazquez at around 11:50 p.m. in the 2600 block of Skokie Valley Road. He was clocked going 26 to 34 mph over the speed limit by police.

Avila-Velazquez's court date is Aug. 5.

DUI

Cameron D. Taylor, 28, of Milwaukee, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use, speeding and driving with a suspended license after a July 2 traffic stop.

Taylor was pulled over at about 2:22 a.m. in the 300 block of Skokie Valley Road. Police claim Taylor was traveling 26 to 34 mph over the limit.

Taylor's court date is July 22.

DUI

Arturo Rodriguez Nunez, 21, of the 3400 block of Howard Street, Park City, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, speeding and possession of marijuana after a July 3 traffic stop

Nunez was pulled over at about 4:28 a.m. in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road. Police clocked him going more than 35 mph over the speed limit.

Nunez's court date is Aug. 5.
